Library Materials and Use Policy
For Parents and Guardians
It is the library’s policy that
parents or legal guardians must assume responsibility
for deciding what library resources are appropriate for
their children (until age 18.) There will be some
resources that parents feel are inappropriate for their
children. Parents should let their children know if
there are materials that they do not want them to use.
The Glenside Public Library
District has no control of the Internet and its
resources, and assumes no responsibility for the
quality, accuracy, or currency of any Internet resource.
Parents should supervise their child’s use of the
Internet.
We encourage you to play an
active role in your children’s library use until such
time as you feel your children are ready to select on
their own.
