Upcoming Book Club books are listed below. All programs start
at 7:00pm on the last Tuesday of every month in meeting room A,
unless there is a field trip. If you are interested in joining
the Book Club for any or all of these discussions, contact the
Adult Reference Desk. All the books are obtained for free
through the Interlibrary Loan Service.
Movie Club
The Glenside Public Library District invites the public to
discover how films capture moments of our lives and may reflect
different aspects of our diverse culture. The library plans to
show a film each month on the third Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
After the movie there will be a brief discussion. Attendees
under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult parent or
guardian. The scheduled dates thru August 2008 are: July 19 and August 16 but may be subject to change.
Titles of movies to be viewed will be advertised in the library.

Computer Classes
Mouse Basics
If you’d like to learn how to use a
mouse or would just like to practice your mouse skills, this is
the class for you! Learn the basics of clicking, as well as
highlighting, editing and moving text in an online tutorial.
This is a one-on-one class, scheduled at your convenience, with
a length of about one hour.
Keyboarding 101
This class is for those who’d like to practice using the
mouse and keyboard together. You will learn highlighting and
formatting skills, how to create a table and additional keyboard
functions. This is a one-on-one class, scheduled at your
convenience, with a length of about one hour. Basic typing
skills are required. If you’re interested in either of the above
