Custodian
Part Time (16.625 hours/week average).

Description:
This position is responsible for minor maintenance activities including cleaning, meeting room setups, monitoring and ordering supplies, snow removal. Travel to local area locations for errands required. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 70 pounds.

Schedule 1:
   Thursdays: 2:45 – 9:15 PM
   Alternating:
        Fridays: 8:30 – 5:15 PM
            &
        Saturdays: 8:30 – 5:15 PM + Sunday: 12:30 – 5:15 PM

Schedule 2:
   Tuesdays: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
   Alternating:
        Fridays: 8:30 – 5:15 PM
            &
        Saturdays: 8:30 – 5:15 PM + Sunday: 12:30 – 5:15 PM

Starting Wage:   $11.71/hr

Part-Time Teen Librarian
(PT, 12 hours/week)

Schedule:
   Monday 5:15-9:15 pm
   Wednesday 5:15-9:15 pm
   Thursday 3:00-7:00 pm

Salary:
   Starting at $17.01 per hour / $22.66 per hour with M.L.S.

Position Description:
Part-Time Teen Librarian position serving an active 6th-12th grade audience.  The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dedicated to excellent customer service and passionate about working with teens. The candidate should also be motivated to build relationships with our patrons and community. They will have constant engagement with our lively teen audience, and should be in touch with current popular culture and trends.  Spanish speaking skills preferred.

Duties include:
    Staffing a busy teen space.
    Assisting in planning and implementing teen programs.
    Providing relevant and current teen reader’s advisory services.

Requirements:
    ALA accredited Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science or currently pursuing an M.L.S.
    Experience working with children and teens in high volume, challenging situations.
    In-depth knowledge of teen literature and current trends in programming.
        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
        Comfort with current information technology
