The Twelve by Justin Cronin

The Twelve is Justin Cronin’s follow-up to 2010’s “one of the best books of the year” The Passage.  This second book of the planned trilogy gives readers new perspectives on the viral apocalypse in its early and later stages, as well as catching us up with old friends like Peter, Amy, and Sara. Excellent pacing, vivid prose, and well-drawn characters make for a great story. Though other reviewers were somewhat disappointed by this entry, I was not, and am definitely looking forward to the conclusion.
