Magazines and Newspapers Magazines and newspapers have information that is current--so if you want to read about something that happened only a couple of years ago, or yesterday, magazines and newspapers are a good place to start. Kids InfoBits Chicago Sun Times and Daily Herald Dictionaries & Thesauri A dictionary will help you find the meaning of a word. A thesaurus will help you find synonymns and antonyms for words. If you don't know if a website is right or not, it is a good idea to check the facts using an encyclopedia or other book, or ask a librarian for help.
