Changes in Library Services

Modified in-building services:

  • Individuals that are not fully vaccinated are required to wear masks
  • Socially distant public seating
  • Study rooms and meeting rooms (with limited capacity)
  • Teen room (with limited capacity)
  • Children’s computers (with limited capacity)

The library will continue to offer all of our other services, including:

  • Curbside pick-up of library materials
  • Curbside pick-up of print-outs
  • In-building collection browsing and check-out
  • In-building scanning, copying, faxing and printing
  • Notary services
  • Passport services (photos will not be provided)

If you’re unable to wear a mask, call us at (630) 260-1550 and we will bring items out to you. 
If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, do not enter.
Symptoms include: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
Practice social distancing by staying 6 feet apart.
COVID-19 spreads mainly among people who are in close contact (within about 6 feet) for a prolonged period.
