New SWAN Catalog Live Now! – Important PIN Information

Big News! Our library has joined the SWAN library consortium, a network of 100 libraries. You now have access to hundreds of thousands more materials – books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and more – and your library card will work at any of the other libraries in our network!  Here are a few more benefits:

  • Use the SWAN catalog or the mobile app to place items on hold from any of the 100 member libraries. You can also select to pick up your holds at any of the 100 member libraries.
  • Request text notifications for items ready for pick up, due soon or overdue.
  • Search the catalog in Spanish by switching the language setting to Español and receive notifications in Spanish through “My Account.”
  • Your eligible items will be automatically renewed two days before they are due. Items can be renewed up to two times unless another member has requested the title.

Important PIN Change Information: If you have a phone number on file, your PIN is now the last 4 digits of your phone number. If a phone number is not on file, a 4-digit PIN will be randomly generated. You will need to go into “My Account” and use “Forgot my PIN” to receive an email to reset your PIN. If your email address is not on file, you will need to contact us during library hours to reset your PIN.

Tutorials: We’ve included our YouTube playlist of SWAN catalog and SWAN Libraries App (iOS or Android) tutorials below. Do you have another question that wasn’t answered here? Call us at 630-260-1550.
